Dr. Dadang Muljawan is currently a Vice Chancellor of Planning, Finance and Business Development of UIII and a Director at Bank Indonesia. He holds a BSc in Engineering Physics from Bandung Institute of Technology, MBA from PPM Graduate School of Management, and PhD in Economics from Loughborough University, UK. His areas of interests cover financial supervision and regulations, and financial assessment both at micro and macro level, and also Islamic economics and finance. He has been exposed to more than 20 years of experience in the Central Bank of Indonesia as an economic researcher, involved in a number of the IFSB Working Groups and joined the IFSB when developing the prudential database for Financial Soundness Indicators (FSI). His research appears in various journals including Applied Financial Economics and Journal of International Banking Regulations.
